Sunday Worship

Our regular Sunday Morning Worship starts at 10:30 am each Sunday. Services are open to everyone, wherever you are in your faith, and we welcome young and old alike. The service normally lasts a little over an hour and refreshments are served afterwards in the adjacent hall

Gone are the uncomfortable old pews and musty hymn books. We have comfortable chairs and a bright and airy building. Music is an important part of our worship and we sing a mix of traditional and modern songs. Words are projected onto a screen in large print to make them accessible to all.

We celebrate Holy Communion during the service on the first Sunday of the month. Communion is a simple, but symbolic meal in which we remember Christ’s sacrifice, once for all, on the cross and the hope of salvation this brings. If you love the Lord Jesus, then you are welcome to take communion with us. We use gluten-free bread and non-alcoholic wine so that we can all share together.

We provide activities for children and there is a separate room with an audio feed to the service with a selection of toys for the really young who may get a bit fractious. We think it is important for children to be part of the main worship and encourage them to join in. We don’t mind if they run around a little or make a bit of noise, it’s what children do, but God’s message of hope and good news is for everyone. After all, Jesus himself said “Let the children come to me, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these”.
